I have extensive experience writing and editing a variety of media content for a range of purposes; examples of which can be found here.

While studying for my undergraduate degree, I wrote for the university newspaper, the Glasgow Guardian. During my final year, I also edited and developed content for the news and views section of the newspaper for several months and continued to copy edit the entire publication before it went to print until the end of the academic year.

After my graduation, I moved to Bangkok, Thailand to start a corporate communications internship. I was the only native English speaker and writer and helped draft and edit content for international release. This included external media releases and company statements. Upon completion of this internship, I was offered an extension as sustainable development communications liaison, working across both departments to develop the communications strategy for sustainable development. As part of this, I worked on a number of various projects, including creating content for the company’s sustainability blog.

In March 2016, I started writing for a UK based charity, Development in Action, who promote global citizenship by improving understanding and encouraging engagement in development issues among young people in the UK. I have written on issues related to development; poverty reduction; women’s rights; human rights and security issues.
